Countdown to Michigan

 Only a few days away from Michigan golf trip. And, can't come soon enough with this 110 degree weather in Dallas this week. It looks like a bit of a heat wave in Michigan when we're there, but not nearly like this. 

On Sunday, I parted with my clubs and suitcase, since Pete and Levi are driving to Chicago, to swap cars with Pete's Mom's SUV. They'll pick me and Tom up at Midway and off we go. 

Our courses (hopefully I'll get to play them all, but, we'll see): Harbor Shores, El Dorado, Crooked Tree, Ross, Moor, Bay Harbor (Preserves/Quarry/Links), Arthur Hills, Heather, Alpine, Monument (maybe we'll see Jerry Lee this year), and a new course in Lansing: Eagle Eye (with one or two stops at MSU Dairy Store).

We've added Sherman's Dairy Bar as our first ice cream stop in South Haven on the way to Cadillac from Harbor Shores. No, we won't get blue moon ice cream, but their ice cream is pretty amazing.
